Public Transport

From the airport

Catch the airport shuttle ?Aerobus? and leave at station number 02 ? Boa Nova and walk downhill for around 5 minutes. For more details on directions, prices and timetables check our transport guide.

From Funchal

Is there a supermarket near?

We have 2 minimarkets at a and supermarkets nearby at a distance of 150m, 200m and 1km, all within a 3-10 minutes walking time.

Are there any restaurants nearby?

In the old town you can find a variety of restaurants, also 4-minute walk up the
hill there is a take away.

Are there any coffee shops around?

There is a coffee shop/bakery on the corner, 2-minute walk down from the
Quinta or 5-minute uphill to the row of shops where you will find a good
bakery/coffee shop.

Where can I buy bus tickets?

In the Anadia shopping centre, you can buy bus tickets or you can pay directly
on the bus (make sure you have coins).

Where can I buy postcards and stamps?

You can buy postcards and stamps in the Anadia shopping centre or in the post
office which is located on the back street of the Farmers market.

Where can I book tours and other holiday activities?

We will be happy to help you select your holiday activities and tours. We have
tickets available for a wide selection which can be booked and paid for at our
reception.

Where can we book a taxi or Airport shuttle?

We have a team of taxi drivers that can provide a range of services, from airport
transfers, day trips and regular trips down to town. To book a taxi you may
contact us or book it directly at reception.

Is the Pool Area open at all times?

The pool area is open from 09:00h until 21:00h. We would like to remind you
that there is NO life guard, so please accompany young children. We kindly ask
you to store away the mattresses and sun umbrellas after use.

Do you provide a cleaning service?

We offer a maid service every other day from Monday to Saturday, no service
on Sunday.

Are the apartments equipped with linen and towels?

All apartments are provided with linen, towels and pool towels. Linen is changed
once a week and towels twice a week.

At what time is Check-in?

Check-in is from 14:00h, but an earlier check-in may be possible depending on
availability. If your arrival is after hours there will be someone on site to greet
you at the door and show you to your room. NB: We ask that you ring the
doorbell on arrival, even if the door is open, so that we know you have arrived.

At what time do I have to Check-out?

Check-out is until 11:00h, but a later check-out may be possible depending on
availability, please ask us at reception.

Do you provide a breakfast service?

We offer a picnic breakfast in a basket on request, which should be previously
personalised by you, on your arrival or by18.00h on the previous day, It will be
delivered to your apartment each morning at your preferred time.

Do you provide a laundry service?

We offer a laundry service at a nominal fee. Our cleaners will wash and hang up
your clothes. Once it has dried, we ask you to collect your laundry from the
drying rack at the laundry area. We also have complimentary iron and ironing
boards if required.

Are the apartments equipped with heating and aircon?

If required we may provide you with a heater for the winter and fans for the
summer, at no extra costs. At the moment, our Quinta does not have air-
conditioning.

Are the kitchens equipped with kitchenware?

All our kitchens or Kitchenettes are fully equipped with the essentials for your
stay. If there is something else that you particularly need, please ask at
reception.
